I performed last friday at Jazzcafé de Spieghel in Groningen during Fifteen Minutes #8. I started the evening with ‘She Wants It’, followed by ‘Naar Jou Toe’ and ‘In Too Deep’. The last song I played within the fifteen minutes was ‘Vogelvrij’. I must say the crowd was very quiet and I think they listened very careful to my songs. March 28th, 2010Last week I finished the design and back-end for the website of a foundation called: Nieuwe Filmmakers Groningen. They released a movie and for the premiere they wanted to have a website where the trailer can be watched. The movie (45min.) is called ‘LICHT’ and it’s a story about a girl, two brothers, their fears, faith, desire and brotherhood. The premiere is on april 11th at Images, Groningen.

Singer Songwriter Café
March 28th, 2010A couple of weeks ago I had a very nice gig at café the Spieghel during the singer songwritercafé. For me it was the first time I played downstairs at the mainstage. The soundman did a pretty good job, and I played for about 45 minutes. Good times. I also want to thank the ‘fans’, and my friends, for their enthusiasm! Especially mr. Florian Wollf, he shot this video of ‘She Wants It’. I can’t wait till my next gig. That will be during the NoBowling festival, april 3d at De Lawei, Drachten.

March 6th, 2010Thursday february 18th I performed on a festival called Preipop. This festival is founded by A.S.G. Cleopatra. I played almost all of my songs and I had a good time. The crowd was very enthusiastic and kind. I got great positive response about the combination of dutch and english songs. A big THANKS to the crew and organization for the wonderful evening!
On march 10th I will be performing during the first Singer Songwritercafé in jazzcafé de Spieghel in Groningen. There are three other great acts: ‘JB Dazen’, ‘Two of a Kind’ and ‘Bernard Gepken’. It’s a free evening, so I invite you all to visit the café and enjoy listening to our music.
Theater ‘De Lawei’ is the location for ‘No Bowling’, a festival in Drachten, Friesland. On april 3rd the festival will take place. Besides acts like The Hot Stewards and Housemagger, there’s a special line-up with singer songwriters. Besides me (el Noré), Marije de Vries, Hille Stellingwerf, Jamila and Jancobus Seunnenga will also perform their songs.
